The hotel was huge. Elevator system was very efficient. The staff was friendly. The standard (double double) rooms were big enough for two adults and two 12yrs kids. The location is spot on for Times Square area. The Times Square view was lovely.

The look of the hotel gets to be outdated a bit, the corridor and room colors and carpets had a bit 80-90s look. We also once ate at the hotel top floor revolving restaurant (the View) - the ambience of the restaurant was very 80s, and the service was slowish esp. for the price point of the restaurant. During the night, there was actually nothing much to see. The food was very good, but nothing spectacular.

We booked a room with 2 double beds and view of the Times Square but was given a king bed room with a single sofa bed. When asked we were instead proposed that another bed is added to the room as there is no more rooms with 2 double beds. The housecleaning staff then refused to clean the room for 2 days as it is " no es possible" because of the 3rd bed in the room. I was informed by the same staff that the 3rd bed are only possible for a corner room. I mentioned that she should tell this to the hotel management and not to their paying guests. On the first time it happened we requested the hotel to clean the room whilst we were out for dinner and came back to a clean room (bliss!). Possible then, so one could ak if it is the room or the staff? We did not bother to ask for a clean room on the second time it happened as we were checking out the following day anyway! We are of course not impressed at all to say the least!

Room could have been cleaner found blood stain on comforter and the tissue box very dirty. The silver was coated with like tooth paste spit.

The staff is very poor! Careless staff of providing good service that customers need!! This hotel just depend on the location to demand hight price, nothing special about it just the location!!
